Cooking Directions: For food safety, follow these cooking instructions. Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature 165 degrees as measured by a thermometer. Since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. Stove Top: For best results, cook from frozen. Place cobs in saucepan with sufficient water to cover corn. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Cook 4-6 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain and season to taste. Microwave: Directions were developed for 1100 watt and higher microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave ovens below 1100 watts will require additional time to reach proper temperature. For best results, cook from frozen. Place desired amount of cobs in a microwave-safe container. Add 1/4 cup water and cover. Cook on high, full (100%) power for (2 cobs 7-8 minutes, 4 cobs 14-16 minutes) (For food safety, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Microwave ovens vary in power; adjust cooking time as necessary) stirring halfway through cooking. Let stand for 1 minute before serving. Drain if necessary and stir prior to serving. Cook thoroughly. Perishable. Keep refrigerated. Keep frozen until ready to use promptly. Refrigerate leftovers.
