Making the switch: Day 1-3: 25% new. 75% old. Day 4-6: 50% new. 50% old. Day 7-9: 75% new. 25% old. Day 10: 100% new. In order to avoid digestion issues while changing your dog's diet, it is important to allow 7-10 days to transition to Supreme Source. Each day during the transition, simply reduce the percentage of the current food and increase the percentage of the new kibble in your dog's diet until you are feeding 100% Supreme Sources. Adult Dog Daily Feeding Suggestions: Up to 10 lbs: 1/2 cup - 1 cup. 11 lbs - 25 lbs: 1 cup - 2 cups. 26 lbs - 50 lbs: 2 cups - 3-1/2 cups. 51 lbs - 100 lbs: 3-1/2 cups - 5-3/4 cups. Use a standard 8 fl oz. measuring cup. Dogs over 100 lbs: Add 1/3 cup per additional 10 lbs. Adult: Every dog is different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, activity level, breed and environment. For adult dogs, feed once or twice daily. Use table above and adjust to maintain body weight. Hard working dogs, dogs in winter and pregnant or nursing mothers may require up to 3 times the normal daily ration. Consider free feeding during these times. Always provide fresh drinking water for your dog. Consult your veterinarian regularly to maintain your dog's optimal health. Puppy: For puppies from weaning to 3 months, feed 4 times a day. From 3 to 6 months, feed 3 times a day. From 6 meonths to 1 year, feed 2 times a day. It is best to mix Supreme Source with warm water, milk or broth. Be sure to keep this mixture fresh. A serving that the puppy will consume in 10 minutes is adequate. Slowly dry out the mixture from weaning to 6 months, then the puppy can be fed a dry adult serving.
