Estate vineyards. Cabernet Franc is one of two parents of Cabernet Sauvignon, a cross between it and Sauvignon Blanc. Estate grown on our lightest south slope, this Cabernet Franc is born overlooking the Pacific ocean and receives plenty of ripening sunshine and temperature variation. Similar to our Cabernet Sauvignon but somewhat lighter in style, the nose will give you a subtle hint of dried flowers and spiceness. On the palate it is medium bodied with a lovely sweet fruitiness that combined with perfect acidity, evolves into an elegant finish.
